General characteristics of our crops

  • Location - Ejido Eréndira, Ensenada County, Baja Califiornia, Mexico

  • Availability of the product: December - June

  • Climate conditions - Moderate climate with an average temperature of 59º to 70ºC (15º to 21ºC), with high relative humidity

  • Crops - Conventional and organic


Brussels Sprouts belong the the Cruciferae family and the Brassicae genus. It´s botanical characteristics are:

  • Edible vegetables

  • Leaves are very tight, which together create a semi-round vegetable

  • Average size is between 2.5 and 4 centimeters in diameter.

Health benefits

  • Slows aging - Due to its high Vitamin C content and Betacarotene, it prevents the appearance of wrinkles and age spots.

  • For pregnant women - Consuming Brussels Sprouts during the first weeks of gestation provides nutrients that may prevent defect formation in the fetus.

  •  Healthy heart - It has isothiocyanates that help prevent and/or reduce heart attacks.
